David Overholt

David Overholt is the general manager of Advanced Atomization Technologies, a joint venture between Parker Aerospace and GE Aviation. Named to the position in August 2013, he is responsible for all financial and operational aspects of the organization.

David joined Parker in 2007 as the director of central engineering. In this role, David was responsible for the leadership and management of the entire central engineering team. He then moved to leadership positions in several Parker Aerospace divisions, including interim business unit director for the lubrication and heat management business of the Fluid Systems Division and director of engineering for the Control Systems Division.

Most recently, he served as business unit director of military and systems for Parker Aerospace’s Control Systems Division.  
Prior to joining Parker, David served as vice president and general manager for Goodrich Space Flight Systems. He also has 17 years of progressive engineering and program management leadership experience from Honeywell where he held several leadership positions, including product engineering manager, product line director, and vice president of engineering and program management for engine systems and accessories.
David is a former United States Navy Lieutenant and completed Naval officer training and advanced technical training at the Naval Nuclear Power School. He received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois and a master of business administration degree from the University of Phoenix.
